Cisco Connect Structures at JBH
For the high-profile Cisco Connect event, we created a distinct and welcoming entrance experience at the front of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel (JBH). We installed two parallel 10x10m structures designed to be immediately functional and aesthetically unique.
An Innovative Blend of Open and Enclosed
These twin structures featured a thoughtful, hybrid design that provided the best of both indoor and outdoor environments:
- Distinctive Location: Placed prominently at the front of the hotel, the pair of 10x10m tents instantly gave the arrival area a unique look, signaling a bespoke event space for Cisco Connect attendees.
- Architectural Balance: Each structure featured a clean white roof and a clever configuration: they were half open and half closed. This balanced design provided essential coverage while maximizing guest comfort.
- Crystal Transparency: The closed sections were fitted with crystal walls. This ensured that even the protected areas maintained an open, bright feel and allowed guests to connect visually with the stunning hotel surroundings.
- Natural Ventilation: The deliberate open sides allowed for a continuous flow of lovely, fresh air. This created an open environment that was both comfortable and well-ventilated, serving as the perfect, naturally refreshing transition space for high-profile delegates arriving at the event.
